Velvet Modified Waffle Stitch Blanket

I used Velvet yarn to make this blanket, and found using it both easy and tricky to use velvet yarn as it's so slippery.  Instead of doing two double crochet stitches between the posts I only did one, thus making this a modified waffle stitch.  Video below:
